Hemingways Nairobi is a small luxury plantation-style hotel in the peaceful suburb of Karen. Meet your personal driver and guide for the next two days and embark on a day of discovering the pristine coastline and quaint towns of “The Fairest Cape.” Keep your binoculars ready to spot wildlife in the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Day 5. Livingstone
The views of magnificent Victoria Falls, the world’s largest curtain of falling water, are even more sensational when viewed from a short helicopter flight. Take in the vast Zambezi River as it spreads out and crashes down, squeezing through the funnel of gorges. Afterwards, join your guide and walk along the misty forest trails to select vantage points for those priceless photos of the falls. Later this afternoon, board a riverboat for a sundowner cruise. Day 6. Livingstone
Relish a leisurely day in Livingstone. Go on a boat ride to Livingstone Island, the place where Dr David Livingstone first glimpsed Mosi-oa-Tunya (The Smoke That Thunders). Visit a local village and meet the friendly villagers or take a day trip into neighboring Botswana and explore Chobe National Park. Day 8. Nairobi / Maasai Mara
