Africa’s vast wilderness and unique wildlife experiences are drawing a wide range of travelers. As the world opens, African Travel has seen an increase in group travel, with people longing to explore Africa to reconnect with family, friends, or like-minded travelers.

More family and friends are joining in groups of 10+ to unlock our special experiences including exclusive dinners and private tours. There are also more advisors hosting special interest groups from the popular South Africa and Victoria Falls to repeat travelers visiting the wilds of Botswana or Rwanda.”

“More people are also seeking to travel with like-minded people and visit single destinations which aligns well with our small group departures, which has no more than 12 to 15 people hosted by a local,” added Banda.

Bucket List Destination

The most asked for safaris right now are East Africa with many wanting to explore Tanzania and Kenya and see Ngorongoro Crater for spectacular game viewing, day and night game drives in UNESCO’s Serengeti National Park, Tangerine National Park’s concentration of elephants and the Maasai Mara.

We suggest tailoring the World’s Greatest Show safari and time a visit around the Great Migration or for those wanting to travel in a small group, combine our Tanzania Explorer and Kenya Wildlife Safari.

 

Flying Solo

Many solo travelers are ready to travel and are flocking to small group safaris, especially our Tanzania Explorer. While we keep single supplements low on most trips, this safari offers no single supplement on 2021/22 departures, and a savings of $500 per person on our October 19, 2021 departure.
