African Travel, Inc. recognizes the ever changing world we now live in. We remain connected to our passion for travel and the well-being of all of our guests and our team members. This is our top priority.

Our professional team of personnel continue to actively and closely monitor the conditions in all of the destinations we travel to. Should events necessitate a change or a deviation is required, the African Travel, Inc. team will modify our trips intelligently and rationally.

Cape Town Water Shortage

Cape Town is currently experiencing extreme drought conditions, which is affecting water consumption in the city and surrounding areas. Most hotels have implemented water saving measures and are encouraging guests to shower rather than take baths, and re-use towels and bed linens rather than asking for clean ones daily. Many restaurants are replacing linen napkins with paper, and some establishments have closed their swimming pools, saunas and steam rooms. We recommend that bottled water be used for consumption. Every effort is being made by the hotels to ensure your stay is worry-free.

African Travel, Inc. will continue to closely monitor the situation and provide updates as we receive them. As always, our guests are our number one priority and we will take the appropriate steps to ensure our valued clients enjoy their safari vacations with minimal impact due to the water shortage.
