2. Singita Lebombo Lodge

Singita Lebombo Lodge looks out regally across the landscape. This boldly dramatic lodge, home to loft-style suites, is situated on Singita’s private concession in the Kruger National Park. The exclusive concession is a richly diverse habitat, teeming with game, beneath endless African skies. Imaginative wood, steel and organic interiors, all encased in glass, create a stylishly contemporary feel in the suites and make the most of the astonishing eagle’s nest views. Other highlights of the lodge include a roof terrace and wine studio (a multi-level retreat which boasts a library, multi-media room, wine studio and rooftop viewing area), an interactive kitchen, an espresso bar and help-yourself deli, and an additional 25-metre lap pool. All communal areas of the lodge have been pushed out to ensure that the outside bursts in, offering elegant, calm and meditative spaces immersed in a dramatic landscape of giant euphorbia trees. Activities include morning and afternoon game drives in open safari vehicles, guided bush walks, mountain bike rides, conducted by experienced rangers and trackers, and archery.

3. Royal Chundu River Lodge

Royal Chundu is the perfect getaway. Scattered along the banks of the Zambezi River, the luxury suites at River Lodge radiate seclusion and tranquility. Interior furnishings echo the Zambezi hues and accentuate the surrounding natural beauty. Teak walkways connect the suites to the main lodge, which houses the library, restaurant, wine cellar, cocktail bar and an infinity pool for relaxing and cooling off during the afternoon. At Royal Chundu, dining is an integral part of your experience, and the chefs take pride in preparing dishes that mirror the rich heritage of the region and the hospitality of the Zambian people. Guests can choose to dine indoors in the restaurant, on the viewing deck, in the privacy of their suites or in the Chief’s boma, where dinner is cooked on open-flames and accompanied by Zambian drumming and traditional Makishi dancers. Upon arriving in Cape Town, South Africa’s “Mother City,” you’ll be warmly welcomed and transferred to your luxurious hotel overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The rest of the day is at your leisure to begin exploring one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

Day 2. Cape Town

Embark on a day of discovering the pristine coastline and quaint towns of “The Fairest Cape.” Keep your binoculars ready to spot wildlife in the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Continue along the coastline to Boulders Beach and linger among the penguins. Stop for lunch in Noordhoek, then wind your way back, along legendary Chapman’s Peak via the sparkling beaches of Hout Bay, Llandudno, Clifton and Camps Bay. (BL)

Day 3. Cape Town

A foodie hotspot, Cape Town offers an array of culinary experiences to suit all palates. Today’s walking tour will give you a taste of some of the Mother City’s local culinary delights. Get to know the people and see how the diverse cultures have influenced the city’s evolving food scene. Wrap up your fun day with a Gin Tasting experience, followed by a wine pairing dinner at the stunning Azure Restaurant. (BLD)

Day 4. Cape Town / Franschhoek

Leave behind the lively city and venture into the beautiful Franschhoek valley. Here breath-taking scenery, warm hospitality, world class cuisine and the finest wines all combine to create lasting memories. Discover wine farms and estates dating back 300 years to the French Huguenots, each with their own story to tell. (BL)



Day 5. Franschhoek

Every aspect of Babylonstoren, is led by the ever-changing tapestry and botanical diversity of the garden. This morning, accompany the chef on an informative walk through the magnificent garden, featuring fruits, vegetables, indigenous plants, fragrant lawns and flowers. (B)



Day 6. Franschhoek / Singita Kruger National Park

Take flight for a thrilling safari in the private Singita Kruger National Park. After you settle in to your lodge, meet your ranger for your first game drive in this isolated piece of pristine wilderness. The area is especially well-known for the remarkable concentration of the ‘Big 5’ and formidable prides of lions. (BLD)

Day 7. Singita Kruger National Park

Daily game drives with professional rangers and trackers provide the perfect opportunity to get up close to Africa’s incredible animals, while spot lit nighttime drives reveal the elusive magic of nocturnal Africa. Day 8. Singita Kruger National Park

In addition to today’s game viewing activities we have included a cooking class in the state-of-the-art Singita Community Culinary School, led by a professional chef. The school is a significant step towards achieving Singita’s long-term, broad community development goal, which is to assist the people that live in and around the reserves to thrive, both economically and socially. Day 9. Singita Kruger National park / Livingstone, Zambia

Fly off to the serenity of the Zambezi River for a two-night stay at the stylish Royal Chundu River Lodge. Camouflaged along the river banks, the lodge radiates seclusion and tranquility. Day 10. Livingstone

There is no set pattern to your days. Discover the heart of Zambia on a community walk through the villages, explore the Zambezi’s channels in an inflatable canoe, go on guided walks, or enjoy a romantic river picnic, complete with Persian carpet and a relaxing hammock.
