The spacious, air-conditioned, en-suite bedrooms are spread over three floors. All the rooms have coffee and tea making facilities, with private bar, electronic safe, Satellite television, international plugs and wireless internet. In addition, every room has a view over the ever-awake Alfred Basin or Piazza. A stone’s throw from the water’s edge, the inviting Ginja Restaurant has one of the finest dining locations in the heart of the V&A Waterfront. Additional facilities include laundry services, 24-hour room service, a designer spa, gym facilities and a pool with manicured gardens at neighboring Dock House Boutique Hotel & Spa.

Situated in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, Kings Camp reflects the charm and romance of a colonial past in a pristine corner of unspoiled Africa. The generously spaced thatched suites are luxuriously equipped with soft cascading mosquito nets, remote controlled air-conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, Victorian ball-and-claw bath, indoor and outdoor double shower, hairdryer, fully stocked mini-bar, safe, telephone, and private verandah with hammock. In between game drives, take a dip in the swimming pool, relax in the lounge and bar areas, or soak up the tranquility on the viewing deck overlooking the waterhole. Breakfast and lunch are served in the dining room while dinners are always a unique experience. Dine under the stars in the heart of the bush; in the traditional boma, in the garden under a large knobthorn tree; alongside the swimming pool, or on your suite verandah. Along with a well-equipped gym, Kings Camp offers an array of pampering treatments to complete your safari experience. Under the guidance of skilled rangers and Shangaan trackers, go off road for close wildlife encounters on open vehicle safari drives or discover the rarer sights and wonders of the bush on walking safaris.
