Lion Sands Tinga Lodge lies on the banks of the Sabie River in a private concession within the world-renowned Kruger National Park. The air-conditioned tents are tastefully decorated, and include a comfortable seating area, open plan bathroom with freestanding bath, indoor shower, as well as an outdoor shower. Positioned just back from the river’s edge, the main lodge offers a cool sanctuary from the African sun. After a day filled with activities, guests can relax and recharge in the river-side lounge, unwind alongside the pool, or indulge in a spa treatment (additional) at the Toa Spa. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available but may be intermittent due to the lodge’s location.

Leave behind the lively city and venture into the beautiful Franschhoek winelands, where spectacular vineyards cover the valley floor and mountain slopes. With a couple of short flights, you’ll be on your way to your safari adventure within a private reserve bordering the famous Kruger National Park. Fly to spectacular Victoria Falls, hailed as one of the world's Seven Natural Wonders, and settle into your lodge. Later this afternoon, you’ll experience the grandeur above the falls as you sail upstream on a sunset cruise. As the sun sets be ready with your binoculars to zoom in on the hippos cavorting in the river. Look out for the elephants as they make their way to the riverbank for their last drink, before settling down for the night. (BLD)
