1. Olive Grove Guest House

Olive Grove Guest House is a small, upmarket guesthouse close to Windhoek city center. Catering to the needs of the discerning traveler, each of the en-suite bedrooms features a large veranda with tables and chairs for al fresco dining. The tastefully decorated lounge with fireplace and open plan kitchen creates a homey feel, while the sun lounge, plunge pool and tranquil garden invite you to unwind and relax under Namibia’s open skies. A guest computer is available to check emails and stay in touch with family and friends and complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the house.
2. Little Kulala

Little Kulala is the closest luxury camp to the remarkable Sossusvlei dunes. The climate-controlled, thatched “kulalas” (Swahili for “resting place”) merge seamlessly into the timeless desert landscape. Each kulala has exquisite fittings and fixtures, both indoor and outdoor shower, innovative bleached deck with a private plunge pool and a rooftop “skybed” for romantic stargazing. The main lodge features an elegant entertainment area which includes a library, wine cellar, craft boutique, lounge and dining areas. The extensive use of neutral colors, gorgeous textures and natural light reproduce the soothing pastel tones of the desert. The overall mood and feel is cool, serene, organic and sheltering.
3. Desert Rhino Camp
Namibia, Damaraland
Desert Rhino Camp lies amongst rolling, rocky hills within the one-acre Palmwag Concession. As part of a collaborative effort with the Save the Rhino Trust, the camp has been instrumental in the preservation of these rare, desert adapted black rhino. Accommodations are in raised Meru-style canvas tents with front verandas to take in the magnificent vistas of the surrounding desert and Etendeka Mountains. Each tent features an en-suite bathroom with a hand basin, flush toilet and shower. The comfortable tented dining and lounge area offers uninterrupted views of the desert and mountains. Evening meals are taken around the fire pit, in front of the lapa (thatched roof supported by wooden poles) and the plunge pool welcomes you to refresh after a game drive or walk. Activities include game drives, rhino tracking on foot or by vehicle, guided nature walks, and birding.

Touch down in Namibia’s capital and transfer to your hotel for a relaxing evening. (D)

Day 2. Windhoek / Sossusvlei
Take flight to Sossusvlei, and a chic desert retreat from which to explore the untamed beauty of the Namib Desert. You can’t get much closer to the renowned dunes of Sossusvlei and the evocative panoramas of Dead Vlei than when you are staying at Little Kulala. One of the greatest concentrations of desert elephants can be found, along with Hartmann’s zebras, oryx, giraffes, springboks lion sand brown hyenas, and a unique population of protected desert adapted lion. Day 3. Sossusvlei
Today enjoy an unforgettable hot air balloon adventure over the Namib Sand Sea, followed by a celebratory champagne breakfast. The vast, open dune fields beckon, offering thrilling adventures as well as time for solitude. An excursion in Sossusvlei includes climbing Big Daddy, one of the tallest sand dunes in the world. Day 4. Sossusvlei
Hike through Sesriem Canyon with a breathtaking perspective on the gorge. Take in the majestic landscapes while riding an electric-powered fat bike. After dark, discover another realm of the Namib. Day 5. Sossusvlei / Damaraland

Day 6. Damaraland
Follow free-ranging populations of critically endangered desert- adapted black rhino across the Damaraland plains, and Going Green while Saving Rhinos at this classic eco-friendly tented camp.
