“The trip was a source of many new and memorable experiences that have stimulated the desires to return.”  – Stanley G.

” The entire trip was magical! There wasn’t a thing about it I didn’t “like most. I loved the ability to design the journey that best fit my interests and aspirations. From a personal view point its hard to improve on that” – Judith G.

“If all African Travel Safari Consultants were Beth Engelhart’s equivalent, African Travel would never receive anything less than an excellent rating. She absolutely tailored our trip to meet every expectation. Thanks!” – Judith G.

The trip really could not have been better. Trip of a lifetime, although I hope you schedule more trips of a lifetime for us in the future. I am sure that you are dying to see 800 pictures or so. Thanks so much for putting this together for us; it was absolutely spectacular!!

Finally got some time to sit down and let you know how it went. Arrived in Entebbe International Airport and after clearing customs we were met by our host Paul and taken right to the Protea Hotel. Thank you for the nice bottle of wine waiting for us.

We awoke and flew to Kibale where were met by Petrus from Volcanoes Safaris. We were surprised to see we were the only ones scheduled.  Petrus was absolutely wonderful. He made the trip for us. His warm personality and hearty laugh were more than we could have expected.  Please pass along to them how great we thought he did.

The staff at all three lodges were warm and welcoming with great food and service. We met Aubrey (owner) at Ndali and his two dogs were our constant companions.  The managers (Gilbert at Ndali, George at Kyambura and Joselyn at Bwindi were always checking to make sure we were satisfied.  Really liked the way the chefs would touch base to see what you would like for dinner and make accommodations for different tastes.

The chimp and gorilla treks were certainly the highlight of the safari but we also enjoyed the cruise and game treks as well.  Have to admit the climb at Bwindi is everything we were warned about and thank goodness we found then a little over two hours up.  Not sure I could have gone on too much longer!! The complimentary massage was very needed when back at the lodge!

Thanks again Beth
