HERO: Jeffrey Nietupski, Provided essentials for those in need
NOMINATED BY: Kristy Durso, Cruise and Tours Unlimited

Everything Jeffrey Nietupski does for the community, he does out of the goodness of his heart. It is not his job. He does it out of a compassion for others and a love for his community. He has no obligation. He took no oath. His day job is a realtor. He is a volunteer. He is a true community hero.

Every week since the Pandemic began, Jeff worked tirelessly to provide food and clothing for those who lost their jobs. His tireless efforts meant that nobody in our community went hungry, even when there was no work. Then, after weeks and weeks of job shortages, Jeff pulled together the entire community to organize a massive job fair for those that were unemployed due to the pandemic. He did this in three stages. The first week, he gave away professional clothing to those that needed to update their wardrobe. The second, he held workshops on how to interview. The third week, the employers were there, like in a traditional job fair. It was a massive undertaking, and Jeff did it all during a pandemic, even getting our local congresswoman involved.

He is essential to the health of our community. He is not a health care professional, but the people of Tampa Bay have depended on Jeff Nietupski to get them through this pandemic. He has been a beacon of hope and support these last few months. His tireless service to his community is truly inspirational, and he changes lives daily. He may not be a hospital worker, but his tireless work of feeding the hungry and clothing the poor during this pandemic has made him a frontline worker nonetheless, and he deserves to be recognized for his heroic and selfless service.
