Your stay is at leisure for independent activities. A host of watersports are available in the area including snorkeling, diving, kite surfing, kayaking and boating, to name just a few. (B)

Go trekking through the lush forest, or explore the nearby villages and markets on bicycle. Visit the nature reserves where you can spot some of the native endangered species, both in the ocean and inland. (B)

Every moment in Mauritius is an opportunity to discover something new. Bring a camera and spend the day sightseeing or shopping. You may want to visit Port-Louis, the capital and main port of Mauritius, founded in 1736. Shopping centers sell locally made textiles, jewelry, sugar and local preserves. B)
