1. Queen Victoria Hotel

Upon your arrival in Cape Town, you will be met by an African Travel, Inc. representative and whisked away to your hotel ideally located in the lively Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.

Day 2. Cape Town

Cape Town grants easy access to a multitude of exciting excursions; potential activities are limited only by the imagination. Enjoy the day at leisure, perhaps a sojourn to the nearby Cape Winelands to sample gourmet fare or a visit to Robben Island, a UNESCO World Heritage site and place of incarceration of South Africa's beloved Nelson Mandela. Spend some time in the historic Company’s Gardens or Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens – their outdoor concerts are legendary. Day 4. Cape Town

If you have yet to get your heart pounding in the Mother City, perhaps today is the day. Adventures await beyond every corner, from cavorting with the Boulder's Beach penguins to descending into the shark-infested Atlantic in a reinforced cage dive. The adventure-minded crowd are never disappointed in Cape Town, and even the more conservative can push their comfort zone with an endless array of award-winning restaurants in every imaginable style of cuisine. Day 5. Cape Town

Your day is at leisure to shop and explore on your own. Explore the colorful Malay Quarter or brose the bustling Victoria & Alfred Watefront and Old Mill Biscuit. (B)

Day 6. Cape Town/Timbavati Private Nature Reserve

Bid farewell to Cape Town and fly off to your lodge in a private game reserve in the renowned Kruger National Park, which has earned its reputation as one of the country’s finest bush experiences. Meet for high tea and set off on your first thrilling afternoon game drive which takes you into the night to view the more elusive nocturnal species. Return to camp for a sumptuous dinner and a relaxing evening around the fireplace, sharing your days experience with the other guests. (BLD)

Day 7. Timbavati Private Nature Reserve

Enjoy morning and afternoon game viewing activities. You will have the opportunity to spot lion, elephant, giraffe, rhino, leopard, hippo, wildebeest, warthog, hyena, and the elusive cheetah - to name just a few! (BLD)

Day 8. Timbavati Private Nature Reserve

With your skilled ranger, explore the rarer sights and wonders of the bush during your game viewing activities today. Perhaps take a guided walk through the bush or arrange for a candle-lit alfresco dinner as the Southern Cross begins to twinkle. (BLD)

Day 9. Timbavati Private Nature Reserve/Depart

Greet the dawn on one final game drive. Return to camp for a hearty breakfast, and then relax until time to transfer to the airport for your flight to Johannesburg. On arrival at Johannesburg International Airport, connect for your international departure flight. (B)
