This is the Africa you will experience at Sabi Sabi's Selati Camp. Selati takes its name from the old railway line that was used to transport gold to Mozambique in the 1870’s. 7. Victoria Falls River Lodge

Zimbabwe, Zambezi National Park

Victoria Falls River Lodge is a luxury tented lodge situated on the peaceful banks of the mighty Zambezi River, within the national park. The well-spaced tents boast uninterrupted views of the river and surrounding bush. Constructed of canvas, glass and wood, each tent extends out onto a private deck with its own plunge pool. The air-conditioned tents are tastefully decorated, and include a comfortable seating area, open plan bathroom with freestanding bath, indoor shower, as well as an outdoor shower. Positioned just back from the river’s edge, the main lodge offers a cool sanctuary from the African sun. After a day filled with activities, guests can relax and recharge in the river-side lounge, unwind alongside the pool, or indulge in a spa treatment (additional) at the Toa Spa. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available but may be intermittent due to the lodge’s location.

Day 1. Arrive Cape Town, South Africa

Welcome to Cape Town, South Africa’s “Mother City.” You will be transferred to the award-winning 5-star Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa.

Day 2. Cape Town

Drink in the picturesque scenery on a Cape Peninsula tour as you drive along the exquisite stretch of coastline. Relish the breathtaking views along legendary Chapman's Peak and take a ride on the Flying Dutchman funicular to the old lighthouse. On your way back towards Cape Town, visit the endearing African penguin colony at Boulders Beach. (B)

Day 3. Cape Town

Enjoy another day at leisure. To enhance your Cape Town experience, we recommend you sample the unique experiences the city has to offer. Day 5. Cape Town / Skukuza / Kruger Private Reserve

After an early breakfast, you will be transferred for your scheduled flight to Skukuza and your luxury lodge in either the Lion Sands Game Reserve or Sabi Sand Game Reserve. Blending unassumingly into the natural environment, the lodge has a wonderful sense of remoteness and peace. Meaningful Moment: Gather for afternoon tea, then head out on your first exhilarating game drive, the very essence of safari. (BLD)

Day 6. Kruger Private Reserve

A day of exploration awaits with morning and afternoon game drives in open Land Rovers and the opportunity to view the "Big Five" - lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo. The Sabie River has the highest recorded density of leopards in Africa, and one of the highest predator densities. It also has the richest biodiversity of any South African river, with many endangered and rare species (mammals, birds, reptiles and plants) found in the area. (BLD)

Day 7. Kruger Private Reserve

Enjoy another day with game drives as well as bush walks in this wildlife paradise. You are accompanied by highly skilled game rangers, who provide interesting information and anecdotes about the inhabitants of the bush. In the late afternoon you will be taken on another safari where you will have the opportunity to see the gorgeous sunset and the nocturnal animals.(BLD)

Day 8. Kruger Private Reserve / Skukuza / Johannesburg

Depart on an early morning game drive to track the animals that may have eluded you so far, followed by breakfast. After a transfer to Skukuza you will fly to Johannesburg, where you will be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel for the night. (B)

Day 9. Johannesburg / Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

You will be transferred to Johannesburg Airport for your flight to Victoria Falls. Transfer to your lodge nestled among the trees in the Zambezi National Park. In the afternoon enjoy a tranquil sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. The park offers outstanding natural, scenic beauty with a wide diversity of game and bird life. Sit back and be lulled by the ebb and flow of the great river as you drift quietly pass elephants, hippos and crocodiles. (BLD)

Day 10. Victoria Falls

Indulge in a mouth-watering breakfast before joining our passionate and knowledgeable guide on a truly unforgettable walking tour of "the Smoke that Thunders." Prepare to be amazed by the stunning Devil's Cataracts and visit the iconic David Livingstone's statue. You'll also get to observe a diverse range of birds and plants in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, unwind and enjoy a refreshing sun-downer while watching the wildlife gather at the water's edge.
