1. Elephant Valley Lodge

Botswana, Chobe National Park

Elephant Valley Lodge lies between the Chobe National Park and the Matetsi Wildlife Conservancy, within the Kasane Forest Reserve, overlooking a waterhole. Meru-styled tents ensure that you are able to hear the multitude of night sounds as you drift away with vivid thoughts of the experiences of your day on safari. Each of the tents features twin beds, ensuite bathroom with shower and toilet, mini safe, tea and coffee making facilities, fan and covered deck. Sturdy acacias reach high above the camp, forming large canopies of shade. The secluded hide, refreshing swimming pool, lounge, dining deck and boma are all focused around the active waterhole. Activities include daily safaris and boat cruises into the Chobe National Park.

Day 1. Victoria Falls / Chobe National Park, Botswana

You will be met at your Victoria Falls hotel for a shared transfer to your lodge near the Chobe National Park for a three night stay. The park, located in northern Botswana, covers thousands of miles of pristine wilderness, ranging from the verdant flood grassland and thickets beside the Chobe River, to forest, mopane woodland and scrub. Here the wildlife roams in profusion and diversity. The elephant population is considered the largest concentration in Africa surviving within the confines of a proclaimed National Park. (LD)
