Outstanding Trip!

Our experience with Pat at African Travel, Inc. was geat from first contact. She was so accommodating and her responses were always efficient and helpful. Id' give her a "10." She also made some suggestions for our trip that added to our trip enjoyment. I was quite impressed with Pat! She got us started on the right path. Having never been to Africa, I wasn't sure what to expect. Every aspect of our trip surpassed my expectations. Leopard in Tanzania handled all the transfers, the logistics and the safari. Our driver for the safari was Lucas. He was always in top form, whether it was his guide skills, driving skills or his incredible kindness. He really went above and beyond to help members of our group who struggled with getting in and out of our vehicle, walking and taking photos. His patience is immense. I can't imagine anyone else doing a better job than what he did! Due to the time of year we traveled, I wasn't sure how many animals we would see or if we would experience lots of rain. We saw so many animals and the weather cooperated. Each lodge we stayed in was different and I enjoyed each of them. The food was good - lots of buffet style meals. There was always something I liked in the choices. A few times they were out of some choices if you were at the end of the line. I liked the local cuisine. Accommodations were fine - clean and comfortable. Service was always good. Our rooms were always readied for us - netting pulled around the beds. even hot water bottles between the sheets at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge. I felt every aspect of this trip was great! We added on three days at Essque Zalu in Zanzibar. It was a beautiful and relaxing setting - a wonderful hotel! It was the perfect ending to an already great trip.
