1. Elewana Arusha Coffee Lodge

Elewana Arusha Coffee Lodge is hidden among one of Tanzania’s largest coffee plantations and beautifully positioned below the rugged peak of Mount Meru. The theme of coffee is never far away at Arusha Coffee Lodge as evidenced by the beautifully designed plantation suites and rooms, all adorned with comfortable furnishings. Each room features an ensuite bathroom including a triple-headed shower, bathrobes and slippers, hairdryer, electronic safe, mini-bar, telephone, tea and coffee making facilities. The homey feel of the lodge is by no means accidental as the origins of the homestead continue to emit glimpses of times-gone-by. The main Plantation House is home to an à la carte restaurant, an intimate bar and a cozy lounge, all of which have inviting open log fires. There are two boutiques, an enclosed swimming pool and a popular garden terrace. The common areas also offer complimentary Wi-Fi.
2. Elewana Tarangire Treetops

Tarangire Treetops is set in a private game reserve bordering Tarangire National Park. The luxury elevated suites are perched on platforms in the branches of age old Baobab and Marula trees. Each suite has a large bedroom with exotic double shower en-suite bathroom. The ‘up-in-the-air’ experience is completed by the open-fronted room design affording views across the Tarangire plains from an expansive but private balcony. The main lodge is centered around a thousand year Baobab tree and encompasses the reception, dining room, and lounge overlooking the swimming pool and waterhole that sees a constant flow of wild animal visitors. Meals at Treetops are a memorable experience, whether dining poolside by candlelight or in the lantern-lit Boma echoing to the sounds of Maasai chants.
3. Neptune Ngorongoro Luxury Lodge

Set in acres of virgin Tanzanian bush, Neptune Ngorongoro Luxury Lodge is a short drive from the entrance to the world heritage site, Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area. The elegant architecture and décor of the lodge blends with the natural magnificence of the highlands of Tanzania and the crater. Each of the cottage style suites has a large viewing terrace and spacious living room heated by an open fire place. All suites have a king size poster bed and feature ensuite facilities, solar heated water, large walk-in shower, double hand basins, toilet, shower and hairdryer. The suites offer complimentary Wi-Fi and telephone, digital safe, mini bar, and tea and coffee making facilities. The restaurant has an outdoor terrace and offers healthy options. Most of the fresh produce is sourced from the vegetable garden and the surrounding communities. Common areas at the lodge include a lounge bar, a lounge with fireplace, library, television, and swimming pool with sundeck and a spa.
4. Elewana Serengeti Pioneer Camp

Located in the Southern Serengeti, within the Moru Kopjes area, Elewana Serengeti Pioneer Camp offers superlative access to the annual migration and the Big 5, with sweeping views overlooking Lake Magadi and the endless plains. Pioneer Camp pays homage to the mobile adventure camps of the 1930’s. A time when an African safari was truly a journey into the unknown and the closeness to nature combined to make an unmistakably distinctive safari experience. The tent interiors are designed to evoke the nostalgic feeling of the safaris of days long ago. The canvas-covered floors are adorned with throw carpets, luxuriant soft furnishings, a writing desk and stationery set. Each tent has en-suite facilities including a flushing toilet, vanity basin, and period-style hot showers. The dining tent hosts the camp’s guests for both breakfast and dinner, whilst luncheons are taken either in camp or in the bush.

Day 1. Arrive Arusha, Tanzania
With a warm welcome upon your arrival, you’ll be transferred to your delightful accommodations in Arusha, northern Tanzania’s safari capital. (D)

Day 2. Arusha / Tarangire National Park
Depart on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, noted for its signature baobab trees and large elephant herds. Enjoy a game drive en route to Tarangire Safari Lodge, where you will stop for lunch. Continue to the five-star Tarangire Treetops, where spacious elevated rooms are built atop tree-attached platforms with magnificent views across the plains. Rest before an exciting night drive. (BLD)

Day 3. Tarangire National Park
Join your expert ranger for morning and afternoon game viewing activities in the Tarangire / Manyara corridor. Tarangire National Park, with its river providing the only permanent water supply during the dry season, supports a great diversity of wildlife — elephants, giraffe, buffalo, lesser kudu, zebra, lion, leopard and cheetah. Day 4. Tarangire / Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Set out early this morning for Lake Manyara. The seasonal flamingos lining its shore provide the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife. Large herds of elephant roam the park and your ranger will diligently seek out the park’s fabled tree-climbing lions and countless wildlife photo opportunities. Continue on to your lodge for the next two nights, perfectly situated to explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ngorongoro Crater. (BLD)

Day 5. Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Descend some 2,000 feet to explore the crater floor of this extinct, collapsed volcano. You’ll be in awe of the wildlife concentrated here. Zoom in on the elephants wandering along well-worn tracks. Listen for the roaring lion guarding its large pride. Gazelle quietly graze, surrounded by zebra and wildebeest, and you might spot the endangered rhino feeding down by the lake. Enjoy a special picnic lunch before returning to your camp. (BLD)

Day 6. Serengeti National Park
Arrive at your luxury tented camp in the heart of the Serengeti just in time for an afternoon game drive. While the exact timing is difficult to predict, here is where more than two million wildebeest, half a million Thomson’s gazelle and a quarter-million zebra gather for annual migrations, attracting large predators such as lion, leopard, cheetah and hyena. Day 7. Serengeti National Park
Depart early for your first game drive of the day. Collect a gallery of striking images as the morning unfolds: a lioness relaxing after her morning hunt, alert elephants guarding their young and herds of wildebeests grazing alongside zebras and gazelles. Day 8. Serengeti National Park
During morning and afternoon game viewing activities, your ranger continues to lead you to the locations where you are able to observe the wildlife quietly and at your leisure. Watch the many species of game grazing in close proximity to your camp as the sun sets over the savanna. (BLD)

It is time to savor your last morning in Tanzania. After a short flight to Arusha, you’ll enjoy lunch and a place to relax at a day room reserved for your use at the Arusha Coffee Lodge. Later tonight, you are transferred to the airport for your onward arrangements. (BL)
