Day 2. Casablanca / Fes

This morning, drive from Casablanca toward Fes, stopping in Morocco’s wine country en route. At a small estate winery, enjoy a curated tasting of local reds, whites, and Morocco’s signature grey wine, paired with lunch and views of the vines. Continue to Fes and check in to your luxurious riad in the medina. Enjoy dinner on your own this evening—your guide can recommend a traditional restaurant or something contemporary. (BL)

Day 3. Fes

Step into the heart of Moroccan history today as you explore Fes with your private guide. Walk the winding alleys of the UNESCO-listed medina, visit the splendid Bou Inania Medersa, explore the Karaouine Mosque and University, admire the artistry of the Nejjarine Fountain and Glaoui Palace, and meet artisans in the famous tanneries. Travel overland today toward the desert, stopping for lunch and to visit the Erfoud Fossil Museum, home to an impressive collection of ancient marine fossils discovered in the surrounding area. After arriving in Merzouga, transfer to 4x4s for a short off-road drive across the dunes. After lunch, continue your journey through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, a winding scenic road through the High Atlas Mountains known for its dramatic views.
