3. The Oyster Box

4. Savanna Private Game Reserve

Savanna is situated in the famous Sabi Sand Reserve in an area where 'Big 5' sightings are so frequent, it is not unusual to see lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino in a single game drive. The beautifully appointed suites offer spacious and luxurious accommodation, blending the elegance of a bygone era with all the convenience of modern facilities. Each suite has an en-suite bathroom with free-standing bath, double vanities, indoor and outdoor shower and open onto a deck with a private plunge pool. In between game drives, relax in the comfortable public lounge with its spacious patio or at the main pool overlooking the lush gardens and waterhole. A viewing loft above the lounge makes a pleasant nook for a quiet game of chess as well as a bird's eye view of the waterhole, while an adjoining library provides complimentary Wi-Fi. Begin a day of spectacular vistas with a ride on the cable car to the top of Table Mountain. Continue to the rugged Cape Peninsula, passing beautiful beaches along the way. Look out for wildlife in the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and view the engaging penguin colony at Boulders Beach.

Day 3. Cape Town

Today’s visit to Franschhoek and Stellenbosch combines excellent wine tasting with an unforgettable art experience. Day 4. Cape Town / Bushmans Kloof Wilderness Reserve

Leave Cape Town behind and journey to the striking Bushmans Kloof Wilderness Reserve. Encompassing over 130 rock art sites, the area provides a rich history of the San people. Join your guide on an enlightening walk to view these ancient Bushman paintings or set out on an evening game drive and a chance to spot the rare aardwolf. (BLD)

Day 5. Bushmans Kloof Wilderness Reserve
