Hidden within the rare sand forest of Phinda Private Game Reserve, Phinda Forest Lodge offers a peaceful sanctuary where contemporary design meets natural beauty. Sixteen air-conditioned glass suites, including a new two-bedroom family suite, rest on stilts above the forest floor. Floor-to-ceiling windows and private verandas invite the forest inside while ensuring privacy and calm. A rim-flow swimming pool, spa, and gym overlook a grassy vlei where wildlife often wanders past. Elegant shared spaces include a gallery, lounge, dining area with an interactive kitchen, and a lantern-lit boma. 3. Cape Cadogan

The Cape Cadogan is a stately double-storeyed Georgia and Victorian building that dates back to the beginning of the 19th century. The building was awarded national monument status in late 1984 and you will feel the charm and character from the moment you arrive!  The individually decorated bedrooms, are each unique in layout and style.  All rooms are air conditioned with facilities such as satellite TV, personal mini bar, hairdryers, tea/coffee makers, DVD players, and complimentary internet access.  The hotel has a comfortable lounge with an open fireplace, a garden and pool area, and a library where you can relax and read a book or indulge in a game of chess.  Your choice of either a continental or cooked breakfast is served in the breakfast room that overlooks the pool and the garden. Situated in the beautiful Gardens area of Cape Town, the Cape Cadogan, is close to a wide variety of boutiques, restaurants and neighbourhood bars, and in close proximity to Table Mountain, Clifton Beach and the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront.

After breakfast, meet your guide for a full-day KwaZulu-Natal Midlands tour. Visit the Nelson Mandela Capture Site memorial, then continue to Ardmore Ceramic Art. Meet local artisans who share their unique interpretations of nature and Zulu folklore, enjoy tea, and create a piece of art together. (B)

Day 3. Durban / Phinda Private Game Reserve

Journey into Phinda Private Game Reserve, one of South Africa's most diverse wilderness areas. Day 4. Phinda Private Game Reserve

Rise early for a morning game drive when wildlife is most active. Later, guests ay choose to experience Phinda's pioneering conservation work, with opportunities such as rhino research, pangolin tracking, or elephant collaring. Greet the dawn on one final game drive. After breakfast transfer to Durban Airport for your flight to Cape Town. Upon arrival, check in to your stylish boutique hotel located in the Kloof Street neighborhood, a vibrant area filled with restaurants and bars to suit any taste. (B)

Take a cable car ride to the top of Table Mountain and enjoy sweeping 360-degree views of Cape Town, Robben Island, the Twelve Apostles, and the Atlantic coastline. Tonight, explore Cape Town independently and perhaps dine at one of its many fantastic restaurants. (B)
