South Africa is a year-round destination, but seasons differ by region. Kruger is best for wildlife viewing during the dry winter months (May–September), while Cape Town's peak season is in summer (November–March). April–May and September–October offer a great balance. This itinerary operates on multiple set departures throughout the year.

Timing depends on what to experience. February–May offers the most dramatic water - ideal for seeing the full spectacle, though visibility can be limited. June–August provides clearer views and great wildlife viewing, and September–November is ideal for activities like Devil’s Pool and rafting, with lower water levels.

This tour is ideal for discerning travelers seeking to explore Southern Africa’s highlights in a small-group, fully guided setting with seamless logistics, luxury accommodations, and expert support throughout.
