Set in lush tropical gardens on a working coffee farm just outside Arusha, Legendary Lodge is a perfect get-away, offering peace and relaxation. The lodge features beautiful garden cottages, each with an inspiring view of Mount Meru from its own private veranda. Designed with a unique blend of African arts and old, colonial-style furnishings, the cottages offer king sized beds, air-conditioning, a separate lounge with a cozy fireplace and ensuite bathrooms with deep tubs and showers. The two-bedroom Kahawa Cottage is ideal for families, while two cozy ensuite rooms are available in the Old Farmhouse for those who prefer to be closer to the dining room and guest lounge. Guests can take advantage of personal minibars and complimentary wireless internet throughout the property. Delectable gourmet meals are served in the gracious environment of The Old Farmhouse, while the Legendary Therapies Spa offers rejuvenating treatments (at an additional cost) in the elegant therapy room or in the privacy of the guest cottages.

Little Chem Chem is set on the edge of an acacia forest in a private concession. The camp overlooks the freshwater Lake Burunge with the Babati mountain range forming a magnificent backdrop. Embracing the elegance and authenticity of a bygone era, the camp is small and intimate with only five vintage style tents. Each tent has a large bedroom, rocking chair, study desk, vanity area with dressing room, in room safe and en-suite bathroom with bucket shower, flushing toilet, and Molton Brown toiletries. Wi-Fi is available in the lounge area.
3. &Beyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge

Perched on the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater, the sumptuous &Beyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge is without doubt one of the most spectacular lodges in Africa. Lemala Kuria Hills Lodge is remotely located in the Wogakuria Hills of the Northern Serengeti. A scenic region characterized by grassy rolling hills, open woodland and tree-lined watercourses, it is a habitat that attracts wildlife throughout the year. Lemala Kuria Hills is in close proximity to the Mara River on the Serengeti’s border with Kenya’s Maasai Mara, so is also within the main corridor of the world-famous wildebeest migration between July and October.
Each suite has an elegant and contemporary design, with comfortable, modern interiors enhanced by authentic African touches. The public areas are dominated by magnificent kopjes, and guests can enjoy the broad views of the grasslands from the bar, sitting and dining areas and swimming pool.

Day 3. Arusha / Tarangire National Park
Fly to Tarangire National Park, best known for its large elephant population and the majestic baobab trees that dwarf the animals that feed beneath them. After settling into your safari lodge, meet your expert ranger for a late afternoon game drive. Later, you will be immersed in the African safari experience as you dine beneath the stars, enjoying the Maasai Choir as they weave the tapestry of their lives through song. (BLD)

Day 4. Tarangire National Park
Join your expert ranger for morning and afternoon game viewing activities in the Tarangire/Manyara corridor. Tarangire National Park, with its river providing the only permanent water supply during the dry season, supports a great diversity of wildlife. (BLD)
Visit a local school and join an impromptu soccer game or share African songs with the children.

Day 5. Tarangire / Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast this morning you will be transferred to Manyara airstrip where you will be met and transferred to the Ngorongoro Conservation area. Set on the rim of the of Ngorongoro Crater, the lodge is perfectly situated to explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site. (BLD)

Day 6. Ngorongoro Crater
Descend some 2000 feet to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. Zoom in on the elephants wandering along well-worn tracks, while gazelle graze quietly, surrounded by zebra and wildebeest. You'll be in awe of the wildlife concentration here. (BLD)

Day 7. Ngorongoro / Serengeti
Take a short flight and drive to the great Serengeti — “endless plains” in the Maasai language. While the exact timing is difficult to predict, here is where more than two million wildebeest, half a million Thomson’s gazelle and a quarter-million zebra gather for annual migrations, attracting large predators such as lion, leopard, cheetah and hyena. Day 8. Serengeti
Depart early in the morning for your first game drive of the day. Collect a gallery of thrilling images as the morning unfolds: a lioness relaxing after her morning hunt; alert elephants carefully guarding their young as they traverse the bush; a startled warthog running with tail erect; ungainly herds of wildebeest grazing alongside zebra. Relax at camp until the day cools down and the animals become more active before setting out for your afternoon game drive. (BLD)
