Day 3. Cape Town

The day is yours to fill with fun adventures and sights. Cape Town proudly lists the iconic Table Mountain as one of its many claims to fame. This ancient peak existed roughly 220 million years before the formation of the Himalayas and has since become an instantly-recognizable symbol of Cape Town’s beauty and diversity – the “mountain in the sea.” The bushy fynbos that blankets the mountain is one of the world’s richest ecosystems, offering a vibrant display of flora, birds, and wildlife. You could easily spend the entire day exploring this natural wonder – access to the mountain itself is free, but for a less daunting journey, enjoy the view from the Table Mountain Cableway. (B)
