Sanctuary Swala,  Tarangire

Sanctuary Swala is set in a secluded part of Tarangire National Park The luxurious canvas pavilions blend seamlessly with the raw and natural beauty of Tanzania’s cinematic savanna. The open-plan rooms featuring elegant neutral-toned interiors are decorated with rich African textiles. King-size beds swathed in linens mingle fresh design with a new take on safari living. Oliver's Camp, Tarangire

Set in the southern reaches of Tarangire National Park, Oliver’s Camp is an echo of the early days of East African safaris; when the camp offered a warm bed and crackling fire at the end of the day, yet the real magic was out there in the wilderness. The spacious tents are beautifully appointed with camp-style wardrobes, chairs, safe, en-suite bathroom with outdoor shower and flush toilet. The private verandas have magnificent views of the horizon punctuated by the silhouettes of the ever-present baobab trees. In the main area, deep leather sofas invite you to relax and watch the restless wilderness beyond. Oliver’s specializes in delicious meals, breakfasts are continental with bacon and eggs made to order, and lunches are light and fresh. Come nightfall, meals are taken communally in the dining tent. Whiskies are poured around the campfire and safari tales are told late into the night. There is a well-stocked library tent where you can escape after dinner.

Roving Bushtops, Serengeti

Roving Bushtops is a semi-permanent camp situated in the heart of the Central Serengeti. Although, designed as a mobile safari camp, Roving Bushtops mirrors the exceptional standards of its sister properties, with absolutely no compromise on indulgence. Each of the tents is packed into an extraordinary mobile unit called the Rover, a “box on wheels”, and towed to its location, where a team of six convert the Rover into a fully-functioning luxury tent. Accommodation boasts 1033 square feet of wooden decking, a sunken hot tub with sun loungers, king size bed, shower and flushing toilet, bath, vanity basin, hairdryers and mini-fridge. Other amenities include a writing desk, secure safe for your valuables and permanent 220v AC power and complimentary Wi-Fi.  Due to the remote location, both wireless and mobile phone connections can be slow and intermittent. The central mess tent provides a haven of sumptuous cuisine, set against the compelling beauty of the Serengeti. Alternatively, guests can choose to dine in the privacy of their own tent or under the stars!  With a campfire glowing outside, watch the sun sink over the vast Serengeti plains. Roving Bushtops is not fenced off, and has direct access to wildlife and the Bush.

Ubuntu Migration Camp

Ubuntu Migration Camp follows the herds of animals as they cross the vast plains of the Serengeti. TAASA Lodge, Serengeti

The luxurious split-level tents seamlessly blend modern comforts with uniquely African accents. The raised sleeping area features either a king or twin-sized beds, adorned with traditional Maasai beadwork. The en-suite bathrooms are complete with a stone shower, double vanity, and sumptuous robes and towels. Enjoy the views of the Lobo Valley from the serenity of your private verandah or curl up with a book in your cozy lounge.  Sanctuary Ngorongoro Crater Camp, Ngorongoro Crater

Sanctuary Ngorongoro Crater Camp is located in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, in the Ngorongoro Crater rim valley.  The camp is located close to the crater floor allowing for easy access morning crater safaris.  The area is home to a large assortment of animals including zebra, rhino, buffalo, warthog, wildebeest, hippo, elephants, lions, hyenas, cheetahs, and leopards.  The classic safari tents are equipped with their own bathroom and indoor bucket shower, hairdryer, plug points, and a small sitting area. The camp’s main common areas include a dining area, bar, lounge, and comfortable sofas situated around the camp to relax while enjoying the surrounding views.

Gibb's Farm

Overlooking the Great Rift Valley and the Ngorongoro Forest, Gibb’s Farm is a refurbished coffee farm with a warm, rustic luxury atmosphere. The main farmhouse and cottages, each with a unique theme, offer the warmth and charm of another era, with all of the modern amenities. The cottages have eucalyptus floors, hand-crafted furniture, two queen-size beds, indoor and outdoor showers, a fireplace and private veranda.
