Camp Xakanaxa’s prime location on the banks of the permanent flowing Khwai River in the heart of the Moremi Game Reserve ensures an authentic, year-round Okavango Delta land and water safari experience.  The stylish main buildings extend over the Khwai River and are set on raised platforms to maximize the views over the surrounding lagoons and islands.  There is an elegant lounge, dining rooms, small library, expansive sundeck, plunge pool, and sala with day bed. The canvas, Meru-style safari tents are equipped with en-suite shower, hand basins and toilet facilities.  There is a private viewing deck with loungers.

3. Camp Okavango

Camp Okavango is situated on the remote Nxaragha Island in the heart of the Okavango Delta. Each suite has been built on individual raised wooden platforms with en-suite bathrooms, double vanities and double shower, fans, 24 hour solar generated power, and charging plug points. Stack away sliding doors open onto a private viewing deck with views over the Okavango Delta.  Hidden among ancient Mangosteen trees, the main area has a network of interconnected walkways linking two lounge areas, a dining room, library, self-service bar and curio shop. Sweeping ramps lead to the lower level deck with two open-air fire pits and seating areas to relax and take in the natural surroundings. The third deck houses the rim flow swimming pool and thatched lounge deck for those warm summer days.

4. Victoria Falls Safari Lodge

Victoria Falls Safari Lodge is set on a plateau overlooking the Zambezi National Park and only a few minutes from the majestic Victoria Falls. Day 2. Johannesburg / Moremi Game Reserve, Botswana

Get ready for some magnificent aerial viewing as you approach the pristine Moremi Game Reserve, one of Africa’s finest wildlife reserves. Your safari tents are set on a raised teak deck, on the edge of the Xakanaxa Lagoon in an area well known for its spectacular game-viewing opportunities. (BLD)

Day 3. Moremi Game Reserve

Experienced rangers will introduce you to a world of wildlife on morning and afternoon game drives. Keep your eyes peeled for the leopard stretched out lazily in a tree or the pride of lions camouflaged in the long grass. Return to camp for dinner and recount the day’s adventure around the glowing fire. (BLD)

Day 4. Moremi Game Reserve

Wake with the animals as Moremi beckons with the promise of another exciting day. Go on a guided walk with your ranger. Surrounded by the sounds and smells of the bush, learn about medicinal herbs, animal tracks, micro ecosystems, and how everything is inter-connected. Back at camp try the ancient art of basket weaving or test your prowess with a bow and arrow. (BLD)

Day 5. Moremi Game Reserve / Okavango Delta

Fly to your safari camp in the heart of the Okavango Delta. In the cool of the day, join your ranger and explore the intricacies of the delta’s lush channels and floodplains in a traditional mokoro. Tonight, fall asleep to the tinkling of the bell frogs. (BLD)

Day 6. Okavango Delta

Grab your binoculars for a day of exploration in the Delta’s maze of lagoons. Roam the surrounding channels by motorboat. Glide though the waterways in search of the majestic fish eagle and vivid malachite kingfisher. (BLD)

Day 7. Okavango Delta / Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

Yet another incredible experience awaits you as you fly to Victoria Falls. Settle into your lodge overlooking the Zambezi National Park Later this afternoon board your sundowner cruise, and sail upstream on the Zambezi River. Sit back, relax and have your camera ready to capture the evening's golden moments.(B)

Day 8. Victoria Falls

Look out for rainbows as you walk the misty rain forest trail. Listen to the thunderous noise, as the water surges over the falls into a series of narrow gorges below. This astounding gift of nature will take your breath away. This evening embark on a unique cultural dining experience at The Boma. Enjoy a barbeque buffet prepared in traditional Zimbabwean style. Shangaan and Ndebele dancers and singers will inspire you with their pulsating energy. After dinner, spend some time with a traditional story teller and learn more about the country's folklore, culture and heritage. (BD)
