1. The Table Bay

The Table Bay Hotel is set on the historic Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, against the stunning backdrop of the working harbor, Table Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean.  The air conditioned rooms feature en-suite bathrooms with separate shower and bath. Amenities include hairdryers, 24-hour in room dining, mini-bar, tea & coffee making facilities, safe, satellite TV, telephone, Wi-Fi, and universal adaptor sockets. Overlooking the magnificent plains of Shamwari is the exquisite and elegant Long Lee Manor. Along with its rolling landscapes, this newly redesigned lodge boasts Edwardian styled suites and a breathtaking rim-flow pool and offers several unique features that will keep you comfortable during your stay. The accommodation is tastefully designed to enhance its location, while the original Manor House has been lovingly restored to pay homage to the area’s rich heritage, adding a bit of romance to any stay.  The opulent rooms have air-conditioning, minibar, Nespresso coffee machine, electronic safe, hairdryer, ensuite bathroom with bath and shower and a private patio or balcony.  Pamper yourself with a host of spa treatments, perhaps a facial or body massage (additional).

Cape Town grants easy access to a multitude of exciting excursions; potential activities are limited only by the imagination. Enjoy the day at leisure, perhaps a sojourn to the nearby Cape Winelands to sample gourmet fare or a visit to Robben Island, a UNESCO World Heritage site and place of incarceration of South Africa's beloved Nelson Mandela. Spend some time in the historic Company’s Gardens or Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens – their outdoor concerts are legendary. (B)

Day 4. Cape Town

If you have yet to get your heart pounding in the Mother City, perhaps today is the day. Adventures await beyond every corner like cavorting with the Boulder's Beach penguins and seeking out the Marine Big 5 along the coast. The adventure-minded crowd are never disappointed in Cape Town, and even the more conservative can push their comfort zone with an endless array of award-winning restaurants in every imaginable style of cuisine. Day 5. Cape Town / Shamwari Game Reserve

Fly to Shamwari Game Reserve, a secluded wildlife haven in the Eastern Cape. Meet your ranger and set out for your first game drive. Keep your eyes peeled for the graceful leopard, the powerful rhino, elephant, lion, buffalo and a multitude of other wildlife. (BLD)

Wake up with the chattering birds and get ready to explore this extremely diverse reserve with valleys, clifftop views, and bush plains filled with an abundance of big game, birds and standout rhino and elephant experience. (BLD)

Staying at Shamwari means you are participating in and experiencing an immensely successful conservation project, which returned the land to the rich biodiversity for which the region was once renowned.
